The Romi Bugner Memorial Paddle Out event requires participants to agree to the following:

Data Collected:

Upon registration, we collect:

• Full name

• Phone number

• Email address 

• Age

• ID

• Consent to participate and be recorded

Data is securely stored and will not be shared with third parties, except:​

• Authorized media partners (photo/video)
   

Recording and Publication:

The event will be professionally recorded – video, photography, and drone footage.
Participants agree to:

• Appear in any recordings

• Be included in live streams

• Allow footage to be used across any platform (social media, websites, news, Guinness submissions, city promotion, etc.)
   

No compensation will be provided for appearing in photos/videos, and participants waive all related claims.

Liability:​

• Participation, including entering the water, is at the participant’s own risk.

• Swimming ability is required.

• The organizers are not responsible for any personal, emotional, or property damage incurred during the event.
